Community Engagement

Engaged residents are the foundation of a thriving community. I want to hear directly from residents on the issues that are most important to them. As a City Councilor I will make it a priority to consistently reach out to community members and lift up their voices.

Growing Local Business

A vibrant downtown forms the heart of a community. I will support development of our downtown that grows local businesses, attracts visitors, and adds value to the daily lives of residents.

Representative Leadership

My priority is to be a voice for all Auburn residents. As a mother of two, I am also committed to providing representation for young families.

Sustainable Development

Auburn’s city design was chosen specifically to avoid suburban sprawl, by having a condensed urban center surrounded by low-density residential and rural land. This effectively consolidates our city services, keeps costs low, and maintains a beautiful natural landscape that is desirable for current and future residents. I will support smart development that maintains our balance of urban and rural space, and promotes walkability and bikeability in our community.

Natural Resource Protection

Auburn is unique compared to other communities in Maine because of its large areas of protected land and greenspaces. I will work to protect Auburn’s natural resources - both land and water.

Strong Local Food Economy

Access to fresh and healthy food for all residents is critical for a strong community. Supporting the growth of our local agricultural and value-added sectors will create better food access, and will build our local economy by providing employment and business opportunities.

Supporting Our Schools

I am dedicated to the continued growth of the Auburn public school system, and providing a learning experience that supports all children along whatever academic path they choose.
